CHILDREN at Berrow Pre-School have been enjoying a selection of ice creams and keeping cool this Indian summer.
Candace and Charliee from Ice N Cold ice cream parlour in Brean, brought along eight different flavour of ice-cream for the children to try, including sprinkles and sauce.
They learnt about the colours and tastes of the different treats and made ice cream themed pictures for the ice-cream parlour to put up on their walls.
Day care manager Mrs Milburn, said: “We like to make learning fun and trying ice-cream to practice our colours fits the bill well.
“We try to be a part of our community and are really glad to receive the support of local businesses. The children have enjoyed this topic immensely.”
