MEMBERS of Moose International gathered at Berrow village hall last Sunday for their first annual convention since the start of Moose International’s reorganization within UK.

A total of 36 Moose brothers and 44 Ladies Circle members attended with the Ladies’ Circle holding their own conference before joining with the brothers for a joint open forum questions and answers session.

Guest speaker, Moose International management committee chairman Alan Harries, briefed the brothers on the latest news, and answered questions from the floor, taking away with him some queries for answering at a later date.

Following the convention all those attending joined at Edithmead’s Windmill club for a carvery dinner.

Moose International is a fraternal service organisation founded in 1888, with chapters in the United States, Canada, Bermuda and the UK.

The group’s aim is to help the orphaned and the widowed, running fundraising programmes for various causes with 45 chartered clubs active throughout England and Wales.
