A LEADING chartered accountants and business advisors firm in Somerset has changed its name and launched a new brand identity from today (September 7).

Thomas Westcott has changed its name to Westcotts and changed its appearance as part of its strategy aimed at reflecting its progressive approach and culture.

Westcotts has 17 offices across Devon and Somerset – including Bridgwater and Burnham-on-Sea – and employs 280 team members.

The UK top 50 company has supported a range of businesses and individuals operating in local, national, and international markets for 30-plus years.

Shona Godefroy, managing partner at Westcotts, said: “Our new brand is fresher, more modern and reflects who we are – a forward-thinking firm, investing in our teams and embracing innovation and new technology while never losing our personal approach.

“We have evolved over the years. We have expanded our office network and we offer more specialisms and new services than ever before.

“We look after many of the region’s most dynamic businesses and individuals, both large and small, and our rebranding demonstrates how much we are aligned.”

Shona added: “It is business as usual for us, which means we will continue to offer our expertise, business advice and specialist services to our clients in the same friendly way they have come to expect.

“We remain committed to the south west’s communities and thousands of clients, who rely on us as business advisers.”

As well as offering a general accountancy and taxation practice, Westcotts’ full-range services and expertise include all aspects of accountancy, audit and tax compliance and planning, digital services, corporate finance, payroll bureau, probate, financial planning, and business recovery and insolvency advice.
