A POPULAR food and drink business in Burnham-on-Sea's Princess Theatre and Arts Centre will leave the venue later this year.
Hellend's Kitchen, run by Carol and Paul Hellend, has been serving the community since being founded in 2019, but will sadly leave the theatre on Thursday, May 23, 2024.
The kitchen café and bar was much loved by visitors to the theatre and locals alike, but its contract with The Princess Theatre is soon due to end.
Speaking on Facebook, Carol, a co-founder of Hellend's Kitchen, said: "It’s been a difficult decision but Hellend’s Kitchen will leave the princess theatre on May 23, 2024 at the end of our contract - if anyone has any vouchers, please use them before this date.
"We would like thank all our customers past and present who have supported us on our three year journey
"We would also like to thank theatre staff, volunteers, and town council for their support."
The Princess Theatre has been contacted for comment regarding the future of catering at the venue.
