A Somerset oil distributor has launched a photography competition aimed to show off the county's stunning landscapes and heritage.
Western Fuel is inviting photography enthusiasts of all ages and skills to take part in Capture Somerset.
The contest, designed to immortalise the essence of the county, will feature five categories: Landscapes, Coastal Charm, Historic Heritage, Rural Life, and Seasonal Splendour.
Winners will have their images printed in an exclusive calendar, with more than 15,000 copies to be distributed to Western Fuel's customers across the region.
The selection of the winning entries will be conducted by Visit Somerset, the official tourism association, ensuring an impartial and expert judgement.
The categories are designed to capture the vast array of landscapes and experiences Somerset has to offer, from the tranquillity of rural life to the changing of the seasons.
Western Fuel has encouraged budding photographers to seize this exciting chance to showcase the beauty of Somerset and stand a chance to claim exciting prizes.
Participants have until August 1 to submit their shots.
