Somerset captain Tom Abell will join up with England for the One Day International and T20 International series in Bangladesh next month.

England will play three ODI games in Bangladesh on March 1, 6 and 9, followed by three T20 fixtures on March 9, 12 and 14.

The call-up is a wonderful opportunity for Abell, who is also set to captain the England Lions in the upcoming ODI series in Sri Lanka. This is the first time Abell has been selected for a full England squad and an honour he richly deserves.

Abell was born in Taunton and progressed through the Somerset youth system, making his first class debut in 2014. He has been a key member of the side ever since, rising to the role of captain in 2017.
